Press ethics and media work in Algeria an analytical study of media legislations

Numerous studies agree that the development of journalism and media practice in Algeria is closely linked to the political and social developments that Algeria has experienced since independence, and some assert that the political factor played a prominent role in the emergence of the Algerian press and their regulatory laws, In its opening line, principles of its work and its professional and ethical rules.
From this standpoint, this research paper seeks to find out the theoretical foundation of the ethics of the profession of journalism and the conditions of its inception, as well as to study how the Algerian media laws deal with them, and their relationship with various stages of political, social, economic and security shift, By analyzing the content of these laws and conditions applied in the professional field of journalists and their media institutions.
