Tourism marketing of national parks in Algerian websites: a study on a sample of tourist sites (ONT, visitalgeria, Algeria-monde, PPCA)

Abstract

   The objective of this study search in the question on the real situation of tourism marketing in Algeria, via the content of some tourism websites dealing with tourism marketing; we focus particularly on the most relevantwebsites with the national parks.According to so-called ecotourism-. To achieve this objective we have chosen four websites that are very active and representative (Algerie-monde, Visitalgeria, ONT, PPCA). Then, we developed a methodological analysis grid for these websites, comprising a set of main criteria as a representative model of the tourism marketing process through the parks. According to our pre-survey and thanks to the criteria of the analysis grid, we made the comparison between the websites of the parks, to know the standards applied in tourism marketing to local sites, by contribution to the standards applied in the global websites, which was adopted to the developed measurement model. Also our study goes far from measuring data, for the websites it is also interested in knowing the quality of the information presented on the websites based on the criteria mentioned. Finally, the aspect of this study takes into account changes in new public needs and current technological developments. Therefore, from this importance, we can raise the question based on the role of digital tourism websites in tourism marketing in Algeria which aims at the development and promotion of tourism.
