Technology culture and child culture: relationship and impact

Abstract

This research aims at casting the light on interconnection between child culture and technology, especially in modern day technology and the coming of the dot com revolution which has an enormous impact on society in general and children in particular. At a time when technology became very significant in child’s culture due to the widening circle of his interaction with the environment and the use of modern technological means, which became an integral part of his personality, identity and culture, this research highlights the interplay between information technology and the personality of the child; how it alters child’s lifestyle and its mutual impact of technology and child culture.
