Abstract

Digital transformation and intellectual property protection are reshaping economic dynamics, especially in emerging economies such as Algeria. Firms are compelled to rethink their strategies by enhancing intangible assets and integrating technological innovation. Unlike studies focused on Western contexts, little attention is given to developing countries. This research examines how the combination of digitalization and innovation protection can serve as a lever for competitiveness in Algerian firms. Fieldwork shows that companies adopting both approaches strengthen innovation capacity, market position, and growth.

The article provides theoretical and practical insights to support Algeria’s transition toward a more competitive economic model.
