Distance education in Algeria "Using the Moodle platform as a model"

Abstract

The strong cohesion between university education and information and communication technology has contributed to the development and promotion of distance university education, which has crystallized and spread across the world, providing golden opportunities for new learning with modern specifications, great freedoms and various options that offer hundreds of thousands in every country ways to access educational programs.

 Accordingly, we will seek through this research paper to identify the concept of distance education, with its advantages, importance, material, human and technical requirements, and the most important historical stages that it has gone through through different time periods by focusing on the most important programs adopted by the Algerian University in embodying its path towards education Remote collectors, and we will highlight its most important mechanisms, which are electronic platforms, by taking the Moodle platform as a model that we have studied.
