The importance of digital media education to promote social upbringing within the family and society under technological challenges: forward-looking vision.

Abstract

This research aims to illustrate the importance of digital media education to enable young people to deal properly with digital media, avoid their risks and avoid their implicit messages that rob privacy, generate violence and crime and destroy their values and morals. Their unconscious interaction with these media is a difficult problem facing social upbringing today. Our children are exposed to all the subversive and dangerous content of values and morals, and are more connected with technology than with family members and parents, making them easy prey to its content. The research concluded that the role of family and school should be integrated to indoctrinate the youth in digital media education, which is today an important societal requirement, and to give them the skills to effectively engage in the digital world and indoctrinate them with critical thinking to distinguish between what is right and what is harmful and dangerous, by controlling the equipment and programs that ensure their success and effectiveness in the digital world.
