Résumé

This study analyzes the role of SME exports in diversifying Algeria’s economy from 1991 to 2024. FMOLS and ECM models assess the relationship between exports and economic growth, non-oil exports boost long-term growth but show no significant short-term impact. Energy exports significantly enhance growth in both the short and long term. The error correction term is negative and significant at 5%. It indicates that 30.07% of imbalance is corrected yearly, reaching equilibrium in about 3 years and 11 months.
