Abstract

The new technologies, through their content and the applications available at their level, pose great challenges to the family as a partner, if not a competitor in the process of education and social and cultural upbringing of children especially in the age range. The child needs guidance and training in various fields. And the men of education a new concept is media education, which means the need for the family through parents to guide their children to how to deal and optimize the use of the contents of various modern media technologies, which are characterized by social networks, which became A day of communication space with different age groups and different cultural, civilizational, ethical and moral environments, and through its various characteristics, it is a teacher and educator for young people. A number of surveys have examined the role of parents in guiding their children towards the good use of social networks , A study of 20 families between the father and mother, to ascertain how much parents are interested in guiding their children about the good use of social media.
