The participation of the Algerian child in creation content on the TikTok platform: Dimensions and risks Analytical study on a sample of trending videos

Abstract

This research paper aimed to describe and analyze the phenomenon of the Algerian child’s participation in content creation on the Tik Tok,by identifying the form and topics of the presented content and monitoring the value dimensions contained in it using the theory of value determinism,for this purpose we used the descriptive analytical method with the content analysis tool and An intentional sample of the trending videos on this site, the results showed that the most covered topics were entertainment with acting talent show by wearing modern clothes and using the vernacular to create content. However,the direction of the study sample from the videos was negative,due to the negative values of moral deviations that we monitored, which makes this virtual environment and the bad behavioral models that it contains have a negative impact that may pose a real danger to the natural socialization of children who use this application,especially when violated their privacy by photographing them in all imaginable places,even in their bedrooms.
