Effet De La Variation Du Niveau D’altitude Sur La Performance Sportive Spécifique Au Test De Min-cooper Chez Les Jeunes Collégiens.
Abstract Introduction - Knowing and evaluating the aerobic fitness of children and adolescents, depending on the variation in factors related to training conditions, such as altitude, makes it possible from a methodological point of view to better guide the process development of this physical quality and, also, to make it profitable and therefore, improve their health and motor performance capacity. On the other hand, from the pedagogical point of view, to improve the objectivity of the pedagogical evaluation, during the process of " teaching physical and sports activities at school. Methods and means - 50 young people (25 girls and 25 boys) took part in this study; the subjects are evaluated using mini cooper test (6 minutes) in two different teaching situations (altitude and low altitude). The statistical analysis of the results is carried out using T-Student for single samples using the SPSS software. Discussion - The statistical analysis of the mini-cooper test results shows that there is a significant difference between the average sports performance of young schoolchildrenthe obtained at high altitude and at low altitude, whether in girls or boys. The improvement in performance may be due to physiological adaptation processes and also to factors related to normoxia (normal atmospheric pressure) that may affect the performance capacity of the aerobic system (Brosnan, MJ, et al. Lewin, BD, 1997, Stray-Gundersersen, J., 2001). Conclusion - The results of this study suggest that the variation in altitude level affects the sports performance capabilities related to mini cooper test in young schoolchildren.
